Owner and trainer Felix Duerr has been riding horses since he was 4 years of age. He grew up and trained in Germany with many renowned dressage trainers including Holger Schmezer. Felix has competed at upper levels including at the German Championships. He has also been a test rider for the Canadian stallion performance test.

Since arriving in Colorado, Felix has specialized in working with young and challenging horses. His horse-starting program is based on German fundamentals, but modified to meet the unique needs of each individual. As a veterinarian Felix prioritizes horse health, both physical and mental, to help horses develop to their full potential.
